Bobby Cordova age 58, of Big Springs, TX passed away Wednesday September 18, 2013, at Scenic Mt. Medical Center.

Bobby was born April 22, 1955, to Adela and Julian Cordova, Sr of Logan, NM. He graduated from the Logan High School in 1973. He served his country in the US Army where he was stationed in Lawton, OK and later in Germany for 4 years. He worked for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Amarillo, TX where he met his wife JoAnnne Campos being married February 24, 1979. He later transfered to Saginaw Michigan, where he was Chief of EMS for the VA Hospital for over two years. He then transferred to Big Springs, TX and worked for the VA Hospital and after his retirement he worked for Price Construction as a load operator for the past two years.
Bobby was loved by many and made such an impact on so many lives. He was very kind, generous and always willing to help others. He was a great mentor, and loved playing golf, Bar-B-Qs and spending time with his family and friends. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving him is his wife JoAnne of Big Springs, TX; one son, Jacob Cordova of Big Springs, TX; two daughters, Rachel Cordova of Big Springs, TX and Jessenia Ybarra of Lovington, NM; his Mother Adela Cordova of Logan, NM; four brothers, Julian Cordova Jr and wife Estella of Logan, NM, Tommy Cordova of Albuquerque, NM, Wilfred Cordova of Amarillo, TX and Leo Cordova and wife Terri of Dalhart, TX; one sister, Arlin Cordova of Logan, NM.
Rosary services were Sunday evening Sept 22, 2013, in the San Antonio Catholic Church in Logan. Mass of the resurrection was offered on Monday September 23, 2013, in the San Antonio Catholic Church beginning at 10AM. Interment to follow in the Logan Cemetery, Logan, NM.
