Boe and Amanda Garrison Boe and Amanda Garrison, husband and wife, of Clovis, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004. Boe Garrison was born on Oct. 18, 1968. Amanda Garrison was born on April 5, 1965. Mr. Garrison graduated from Tucumcari High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a plank owner of the USS Wisconsin and a veteran of Desert Storm. He had been an officer with the New Mexico State Police and was recently an officer with the Clovis Police Department. His hobbies included hunting and singing. Mrs. Garrison was in her third year of pastoring the Methodist Church in Grady. She enjoyed working with the church, visiting friends and spending time with her family. She started an after school program at the church. The couple is survived by three children, Casey and Jacob Gaines and Alexandria Garrison. Mr. Garrison's survivors include his father; Bill Garrison of Albuquerque; his mother, Sharon Potter of Portales; three brothers, Bart Garrison (Arlene) of Alamogordo, Ben Garrison (Mary) of Zeeland, Mich. and Bradley Garrison of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Shareen King (John) of Portales and Sherrie Archuleta (Michael) of Roswell; and grandparents. Mrs. Garrison's survivors include her mother, Donna Knight of Clovis; and a brother, Alan Knight (Patty) of Nehawka, Neb. Services were10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Clovis Rev. Danny Sanders officiating. Burial was at Tucumcari Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Portales National Bank in care of Roosevelt County General Foundation Fund for the Garrison family.
