Charles Adolph Pechacek Services: Have been held.  Charles Adolph Pechacek, 98, died Aug. 12 in Trigg Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Pechacek, who was known as "Charlie," was born Nov. 3, 1907 in Ballinger, Texas. He had been a Tucumcari resident for 60 years. Mr. Pechacek owned and operated the Quay Auto Parts Store in Tucumcari. He also was a life member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 1172 in Tucumcari.  Surviving Mr. Pechacek are his wife, Emma Pechacek of Tucumcari, and two step-daughters, Stella (Jimmy) Watson of Tucumcari and Dori (Audie) Roach of Clovis. He is also survived by his grandchildren Court Watson, Brittany Pena, Misty English and April Phipps, two great-grandchildren, Jarrett Watson and Teagan Watson and a nephew, Michael Merchant of WellsPoint, Texas.  Jim Witcher of First Christian Church officiated at the services. Pall bearers were Jimmy Watson, Court Watson, Audie Roach, Ben Phipps, Danny Wallace and Glenn Truelock. Honorary pall bearers were Bud Richardson, Tommy Wallace, Dr. James E. Saltz Jr., Louie Abeyta, Cliff Richardson and Stanley Jennings. Burial was at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
