Claude Williams Claude Williams, 78, died in Albuquerque Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 following an extended illness. Claude Williams was born July 20, 1926 in Burk Burnett, Texas. He was a deacon and working member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Tucumcari. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed at the Tucumcari Truck Terminal for 20 years retiring in 1987. Because of failing health, he and his wife, Wilhelmenia moved to Lancaster, Texas. They later relocated in Albuquerque in December 2003. He is survived by his wife Wilhelmenia of Albuquerque; his daughter Barbara Ann Bunton (Early); sons Willie James Coats (Ruby), Ernest Coats Jr. (Wilma), Phillip Coats (Lucia), Dewitt Coats (Mardee) and Douglas Coats (Jo Ann). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Services were Tuesday morning at the At. Calvary Baptist Church in Tucumcari with Rev. George R. Sawyer officiating. Burial at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery followed the Services.
