Clyde Melton Dickinson Clyde Melton Dickinson died Feb. 25, 2005 in Nashville, Ten. Dickinson was born on June 28, 1912 in Valley Mills, Texas. He graduated from high school in Clovis. The was the co-owner of Dickinson Motor Company in Tucumcari and the owner of Dickinson Implement Company in Tucumcari from 1948 to 1952. He was a Quay County Commissioner, chairmen of the Quay County Commission, an active member of Lion's Club that served as president for two terms and Iong -term member of the Center Street Methodist Church in Tucumcari. Dickinson was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Arch Hurley Conservation district. He is survived by his wife Ola Maude Dickinson; sister Joyce Jo Harlan; three children, Gene Dickinson, Johnny Dickinson an Dolores Dickinson Dennard eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Nashville at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Rev. Sandra Randleman will be officiating Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
