Harry Dale George Harry Dale George, 78, of Amarillo and a long-time resident of Tucumcari died on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004 in Amarillo. Harry George married Bea Sandoval November 18, 1950 in Clayton. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army Paratroopers, 11th Airborne Division. He retired from ASARCO after 36 years of service with them. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1475. He is survived by his wife of Amarillo; two sons, Carl George of Fritch, Texas and Ronald (Carol) of Amarillo; one daughter, Oleta Sutton (Charles) of Amarillo; four brothers, Johnny George of Amarillo, Leroy George of Fritch, Don George of Lakin, Kansas and Jessie George of Austin; four sisters, Betty Ellis of Raton, Ruby George of Dalhart, Texas, Agnes Vieth of Amarillo and Ruth Roberts of San Antionio. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were at Memorial Park in Amarillo, Monday, Nov. 8. Burial was in Llano Cemetery.
