Jack Albert Peachey, from Logan, NM, passed away on November 16, 2008. He was born in Fort Madison, IA, on August 27, 1926.
He served in the Army branch of the military and was a retired Denver police officer. He was also associated with the Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association as a race car owner and driver. In 1992, Jack and Ramona Peachey moved to Logan.
He is survived by wife Ramona, of Logan; sons, Rory and Shonia Peachey, Steve and Linda Peachey, Ed and Patti Young, all of Denver; daughter, Diane Krayca of Logan; two grandchildren, Kyndrick and Garrett of Denver; one brother and sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers and four sisters.
He was a loving husband and father and a dear friend to many and he will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Legion Post #77 or the Denver Police Orphan Fund.
The rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. November 30 at Saint Anthony's Catholic church. Mass will be held at December 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Anthony's Catholic church in Logan.
