Joe Walter Haun, 77, passed away in Amarillo, Texas on February 28, 2010, following an extended illness.
Joe was born February 4, 1933, in Denver, Colorado. He was a member of the End of Time Ministries and a life member of the VFW. Joe was a retired serviceman having served in the Coast Guard, Air Force, and Army National Guard.
Surviving Joe are his wife, Mickey Haun of Tucumcari; a sister, Winnie Leal (Allen) of Sacramento, California, and children, MaryJo and David Burcl of Denver, Colorado, Don and Marion Haun of Laurel, Montana, Louie and Rochelle Haun Albuquerque, New Mexico, Leland and Helen Haun of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Vince and Mary Guillen of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kathy and Paul Pacheco of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mike and Elizabeth Guillen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cindy Haun of Laurel Montana, and adopted daughter and family, Trish, Chris, and Tristan Spencer of Clovis, New Mexico; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren as well as many other wonderful friends and family.
Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Haun; a sister, Wanita Wilkerson, and a granddaughter, Lynn Marie Waits.
A memorial service will be held at the "End of Times Ministries: Church 424 South Monroe in Tucumcari with a reception to follow on March 20th at 5:00 p.m.
