John Genitski Obituary
John Genitksi, age 88, went home to be with His Lord and Savior on April 2, 2017. Graveside services will be held at the Tucumcari Cemetery on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. Brother Bob Miller will be officiating.
John was born in Throop, PA on September 28, 1928. He joined the US Air Force and retired after 23 years of service to his country. Highlight of 2016: Life- long Cubby fan who lived to see his Cubbies win the World Series Championship.
He is survived by (2) sons: Terry Miller and Lynn Miller; (4) daughters: Mary Martin, Helen Genitski, Ceil Boatman and Virginia Jones; (14) grandchildren: Chris Miller, Steve Miller, Shane Miller, Coleen Miller, Ricky Martin, John Martin, Matthew Martin, Stuart Martin, Daniel Martin, Ryan Boatman, Kyle Boatman, Will Genitski, Paige Sneller and Sarah Morgan; and (19) great grandchildren with one on the way and (1) great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances of 35 years; his parents, John & Sophie Genitski; his sister, Mary Ann Genitski and his son-in-law David Jonesy Jones.
Pallbearers will be: William Genitski, Chris Miller, Ryan Boatman, Kyle Boatman, Larry Vongsa, Jesse Morgan & Colby Sneller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gideons International or your local animal shelter.
