Juan W. Sandoval Juan Sandoval, 65, of Tucumcari died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Trigg Memorial Hospital of Tucumcari. He was born June 24, 1937, in Mosquero to Juan and Carolina Sandoval. He had been an active member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. He was retired from the Tucumcari public schools where he had been a custodian for many years. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 25 years attaining the rank of sgt. He was a long-time active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild and two great-grandsons. He is survived by his wife Lucy Albina Sandoval; one son, Ben Sandoval (and wife, Jaye) of Tucumcari; three daughters, Carol Corbin of Tucumcari, Dorothy Martinez (Jerry) of Las Vegas, N.M., and Juanita Telles (Gilbert) of Los Lunas, N.M.; six sisters, Josie Martinez, Mary Uribe, Mary Stella Montiel (Angel), all of Tucumcari, Viola Pacheco of La Puenta, Calif., Dora Chacon of El Monte, Calif., and Adelina Cruz of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Vicente Sandoval (Julia) of Tucumcari and Sammy Sandoval of Amarillo, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday in St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday in the St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Leo Padget as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home in Tucumcari.
