1912 - 2011 Obituary Condolences
Mildred Margaret Koehler  passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Albuquerque, NM, where she had resided for the past 15 years.
 Mildred was born June 4, 1912, in Louisville, KY. She had been a long time Tucumcari resident where she and her husband owned and operated the Jim Koehler Motors and the Trav - O - Tel Motel on east Main street in Tucumcari.  She was active in the community and was as active member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church. She had been President of St. Anne's Alter Society. She was one of the founders of the St. Vincent DePaul Society Thrift Shop and a member of the Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital Board of Directors along with being a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary. She co-founded the St. Patrick's Day Irish Stew Dinner held  at Hammond Hall for the past 25 years.  She loved golf, winning many tournaments and a member of the Mesa Country Club.
 Surviving Mildred Koehler are her daughters, Alma Jeanne Hoffer and husband, John, Patricia Rae Koehler, Margaret Yvonne Arriola and husband, Dan, Judith K Parker and husband, Gerald, Elizabeth Ann Del Prete and husband, Robert, Francis Koehler; one son, Carl Christopher Koheler and wife, Rosemary; 23 Grandchildren and 49 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 1982.
 Rosary will be recited on Monday evening, November 14, 2011, at 7:00 PM in the St. Anne's Catholic Church with Mass of the Resurrection being offered on Tuesday morning, November 15, 2011, in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev Father Hyginus Anuta will serve as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family suggests for those who wish, donations may be made in loving memory to the St. Vincent De Paul Society c/o St. Anne's Catholic Church. Services have been entrusted to the Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari NM, (575) 461-3815.
