1946 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Patricio (PAT) Otero age 67, passed away on Sunday morning November 17, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas following an extended illness.
Pat was born September 11, 1946, in Tucumcari NM. He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church and was retired from the PNM Natural Gas Company of New Mexico. He served in the New Mexico Army National Guard, had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, The American Legion Conchas Dam Post No. 19, of the Holy Name Society and of the B P O Elks Lodge 1172 of Tucumcari NM.
Surviving Pat is his wife of 48 years Loraine Otero of Tucumcari. His children Patrick Otero of Tucumcari and Francine Harper & husband Robbie of Peoria AZ. 5 Grandchildren Monique Rivera & Chris, Chasity Otero, Ciara Otero, Jaden and Jordan Harper .5 Great Grandchildren Eva, Elias and Enzo Rivera, Albert Lucero Jr and Elijah Jones. His siblings - Lucia Segura, James Otero & Melda, Nano Otero & Christine, Steve Otero and Gene Otero & Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Rosa Otero, by his sister Patricia and nephew Chris Barreras.
Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening November 20th 2013, in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 6:00PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Thursday morning November 21st, 2013, in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 11:00AM with Rev. Father Hyginus Anuta as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
PALL BEARERS will be Felix Blea, Larry Moore, Tony Trujillo, Chris Rivera, Angelo Otero, Chris Prieto, Gary Garcia and Martin Barreras Jr. Honorary Pall Bearers will be all nephews, Martin Barreras Sr. and all of the Conchas Lake Gang.
