Ramona Hendren Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Ramona R. Hendren age 94, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, in Albuquerque. She was born on July 2, 1911, in Clayton, in the Territory of New Mexico. She was a direct descendent of the original Spanish pioneer settlers that came to the Territory of New Mexico before statehood in 1912. She was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Hendren; three children; two grandchildren; and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Hendren of Rio Rancho, Katherine Schmucker (and husband, Art) of Topeka, Kan., and Rita Feigl (Tom) of Orland Park Ill.; four sons, Father Lucian C. Hendren of Albuquerque, W.S. "Bert" Hendren (Rosalee) of Denver, Philip Hendren (Patsy) of Albuquerque, and Vincent Hendren (Kathy) of Minneapolis, Minn.; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday at Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Tucumcari. Father Lucian Hendren and Father Leo Padget will officiate the services. Pallbearers are Vincent Jr., Joseph, Keith, Chris, and Louis A Hendren, and Mark Feigl. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Terrence D. Reagan, Henry Bud Winsor, Roy Davidson, and Tom Feigl. Burial will be at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
