Victor Joe Arguello Obituary
Victor Joe Arguello 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Saturday, August 25, 2018, in Amarillo, TX at Northwest Texas Hospital.
He was born in Albert, NM to Diego and Genoveva Arguello. He lived most of his life in Mosquero, NM and served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. He married the love of his life Gloria Maestas and later moved to Tucumcari, NM where he worked for the City of Tucumcari as a Power Plant Operator for many years and later retired from the Quay County Road Department as a Blade Operator. He was a loving, hardworking and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and great grandfather.
Victor is survived by his wife Gloria B. Arguello of 57 years. Sons: Diego Arguello, Rick (Lesley) Arguello. Daughters: Debbie (Gary) Montano, Victoria (Esteban Jr.) Martinez. Grandchildren: Celeana Arguello, Aeayla Arguello, Rick Arguello Jr. (Krystal), Quinn Smith (Monique), Rebecca Smith, Frankie Joe Montano, Darius Martinez, Diedra Vargas, Jakus Martinez (Saray), Esteban Martinez III (Carri), Joseph Martinez. Great Grandchildren: Lauren, DNaylie, Natalya, Charles, Esperanza, Grayson, Emma, Annaliah, JennaBelle, Zelaynee, Raven and Maddox.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frankie Joe Arguello, daughter Jennifer Arguello, grandsons, Patrick Gonzales and Victor Joe Gonzales, parents Diego Arguello and Genoveva Montano Arguello and sister Elvira Baca.
A Rosary will be recited at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10 am with Mass of the Resurrection being offered at 11 am with Father Johnpaul Afuecheta as Celebrant.
Honorary Paul Bearers are as follows: Rick Arguello Jr., Darius Martinez, Quinn Smith, Jakus Martinez, Esteban Martinez III, Joseph Martinez and Frankie Joe Montano.
