Manuel A. Lopez age 80, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2014, in Tucumcari NM. Manuel was born February 17, 1934, at Montoya, NM.
He had been a long time Tucumcari NM resident. He had been a very successful farmer for many years. He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving him are his sons Albert Lopez & Patricia, Raymond Lopez & Maria, Herman Lopez & Barbara. 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. His siblings Donaciano Lopez& Eleanor, Pablo Lopez & Gonnie, Carlos Lopez, Rudy Lopez & Rosie, Carmen Badillo & Ernest,Albenita White & Ed, Candy Duran & Richard, Delfie Martinez & Robert and Mary Cordova & Melvin.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rita, by his parents, Manuel and Juanita, by his brothers, Margarito, Joe and Fred Lopez and by his great grandson Noah Ureste.
Rosary is tonight Sunday July 6 2014, in the St. Annes Catholic Church beginning at 6PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday July 7, 2014, in the St. Annes Catholic Church beginning at 10AM. Pall bears are Kyle Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Adam Lopez, Herman Lopez, Manuel Lopez and Matt Smith.
Interment is in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
