Ken Pierson, a mentor and guiding light in my early life! As a kid who grew up around the Burbank Airport, both Ken Pierson
and Tony Claessens (Pilots with PSA), allowed me to become the only member of
PSA's Post 1011 outside of the San Diego area--ever! As a 15 year old, riding
the cockpit "Jump-Seat" to and from Burbank
to attend pilot ground school provided
by PSA. After 25 years with American Airlines, I owe my carrier to both Ken and Tony. I will miss our conversations
during the "Dinner Hour"! Ken, your cleared for take-off, Runway 27--wind calm......

I was one of the people Ken visited through the volunteer program and I always enjoyed his visits. I will miss his smile and his sense of humor.
Rest in peace.

Kenny and I went to work for PSA about the same time he came in 1959 and I came in 1960. We flew the old Air Force contract C-47 together and many times on the Lockheed Electra. I have many fond memories of Kenny in the old days. Rest in Peace and farewell

I bought my home from ken, here in Ramona. ken and his wife were very nice and when I got to see the house, Ken told me a bit about himself. He will be deeply missed.
