Beverly Dansby Obituary

CUSTER - Beverly Hanlon Dansby, 71, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She and her parents moved to Lakeland, Fla., when she was a child. She graduated from Lakeland High School and attended the University of Florida. Bev was a true "GATOR."

She served the citizens of Charlotte County, Fla., through the Sheriff's Office. She was with communications for 13 years and 10 years with Emergency 911. Bev retired in 2003 and moved to Custer with her husband who was also retired law enforcement with the same agency.

She loved the Black Hills, the outdoors and most sports. Her favorite was turkey hunting and she was a member of Women In The Outdoors (NWTF).

Beverly is survived by her husband, Danny, of Custer; a brother of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a caring and loving family, the Sauers of Mount Healthy, Ohio.

At her request no services will be held.

Bevy was my bride, my best friend, and I will miss her very much. We took care of each other for 25 years.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
