George Sloan Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Arlyce, Belle Fourche; two sons, Charles Sloan, Piedmont, and Daniel Sloan, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; three daughters, Pamela Pirkey, Edgewood, N.M., Ferne Tellinghuisen, Lakeside Calif., and Charlotte Engelstad, Fairfield, Idaho; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Harold Sloan Jr., Belle Fourche; and a sister, Helen McClain, Woodstock, Ill.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills, and one hour before services at United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
May 12, at the church, with the Rev. Gail Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with military honors provided by Belle Fourche Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorials have been established to Hospice of the Northern Hills and the United Methodist Church.
