Isaiah Nathaniel Red Owl

KYLE - Isaiah Nathaniel Red Owl, infant son of Nathaniel Red Owl and Lovencia Bad Wound, Kyle, was stillborn Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, in Pine Ridge. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Dominic Red Owl, Kyle; a sister, Breanna Bad Wound, Kyle; grandparents, Lisa LaMont and Elvira Shangreaux, both of Kyle; and Jonathan Bad Wound, Martin; and great-grandparents, Vincent and Sophia LaMont, Kyle. A one-night wake will begin at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the hall, with the Rev. Cordelia Red Owl officiating and traditional Lakota services by Steve DuBray. Burial will be at the LaMont residence in Kyle. Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge is handling the arrangements.
