Becker, Malcolm - Reading  
Malcolm Charles Becker, 87, passed away April 27, 2015, in The Reading Hospital. His wife, Lar T. (Blanco) Becker passed away on April 19, 2009. Malcolm was born in Reading on April 10, 1928, a son of the late William J. and Agnes (Wengert) Becker. He was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading and was in the Coast Guard for 20 years serving during the Korean War, retiring in 1968. Malcolm was employed by Precision Rebuilding and Textile Machine Works as a machinist. He was later employed by Stroh's Brewery as a machinist for 15 years, retiring in 1989. Malcolm is survived by his 2 daughters, Susan and her husband, Daniel Mosser of Reading and Frances and her husband, Ronald Hertzog of Port Orange, FL. There are 6 grandchildren: Jennifer and her husband, Jonathan Dumas, Thomas and his wife, Claudia Barrett, Matthew Hertzog, Lindsay Mosser, Emily Mosser and Kelsey Mosser, and 7 great-grandchildren: Trent Hertzog, Connor Barrett, Ian Dumas, Ava Dumas, Ruby Hertzog, Ella Dumas and Meadow Barrett. He was predeceased by his brother, William Becker. Services will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A gathering will be Tuesday 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.aumansinc.com .

Brown, Gladys (Yerger) - Shillington  
Gladys Mary Brown, 91, of Lincoln Park, formerly of Kenhorst, died May 3, 2015 at 11:23 p.m. in Berks Heim, where she was a guest. She was the wife of the late Carl L. Brown, who died July 17, 1999. Born in Strausstown, she was a daughter of the late Earl B. and Frances (Reigel) Yerger. She was a cost accounting clerk for 45 years, retiring in 1985. She started her career at Armour & Company, Reading, working there for 30 years, and at Baldwin Hardware for her last 15 years. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading. She enjoyed her home and her family and listening to big band music. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Brown, Lincoln Park; her sisters. Claire Huey, The Highlands at Wyomissing; Nitzi P. Coldren, Heritage of Green Hills; and her brother, Dean Yerger, Sullivan County, PA. Celebration of Life service from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 12 Noon. Rev. Dr. Wayne A. Heintzelman, officiating. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Friends may call Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, at the funeral home. Buchanan, Evelyn (DAmbrisi) - West Reading  
Evelyn T. Buchanan, 71, passed away on April 24, 2015, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Angelina (Gavdiosi) D'Ambrisi. She was the wife of James Buchanan. She was the owner and operator of her own bookkeeping services. Evelyn enjoyed sewing and cooking in her home. Her bookkeeping service was her passion in life. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Joseph and Anthony and her sister, Marie D'Ambrisi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, West Reading. A viewing will be held an hour prior in the church. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 30 South 17th St., STE 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Bupp II, Martin - West Reading  
The Rev. Martin L. Bupp II, 77, passed away on April 22, 2015 at The Highlands, Wyomissing, PA. He was the husband of Gale Umstead Bupp. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. Rev. Bupp was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lansdale, PA. Born May 26, 1937 in York, PA, he was the son of Martin Luther Bupp and Hazel (Becker) Bupp. He was a graduate of York High School, Catawba College (Magna Cum Laude) and Yale Divinity School (Master of Divinity). Rev. Bupp was ordained into the United Church of Christ on June 24, 1962. He was then called to serve Grace-Daniel's Charge in Lincolnton, North Carolina, from July 1962–October, 1964. On October 18, 1964, he was installed at St. John's UCC, Lansdale, PA, where he served five years as the Associate Pastor. He was then called to First Congregational Church in Westfield, MA, from October 1969-September 1972. In September, 1972, he became pastor to two churches, St. Paul's UCC, Springfield, PA, and Northminster Presbyterian Church, Drexel Hill, PA. These two congregations came together under Rev. Bupp's guidance and formed Collenbrook United Church, Drexel Hill, PA, where he pastored for eleven years. He then served as the Assistant to the Conference Minister for the Pennsylvania Southeast UCC Conference, with responsibilities for over 180 UCC churches from 1983 until he retired in October, 2000. The focus of his ministry was the union of people and churches. Rev. Bupp made several trips to El Salvador in support of Christian ministries there, and had a pulpit exchange during the summer of 1976 with the First Reformed Church of Nottingham, England. Rev. Bupp's hobbies included model trains, collecting baseball cards and stamps. He had a passion for the Phillies. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children and their spouses: Keith A. Bupp and Sujata (Bose) Bupp of Gaithersburg, MD; Karl E. Bupp and Carol (Goetz) Bupp of Wayne, PA; Stephanie R. (Bupp) Becker and Daniel P. Becker of Wyomissing, PA; Jennifer (Bupp) Meko and Joseph Meko of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by nine beloved grandchildren: Brendan, Brian, Anna, Kari, Sam, Alyssa, Erin, Eric and Emily. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's UCC, Lansdale, PA, on May 17, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Rev. Martin L.
