Cabanya, Robert - Reading  
Robert L. Cabanya, 77, passed away June 21, 2016, in the Hawthorne Home. He was born in Anthony, New Mexico. He had been employed for Sprint and was the CEO of Zephyr Communications. He was an Army veteran. Services will be private. Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home, Inc., Reading, has charge of arrangements.

Calabria, William - West Reading  
William R. Calabria, aka "Curly," 91, of Mt. Penn, died June 20, 2016, in Evans Retirement Home, Fleetwood. His wife, Helen (Harris) Calabria, died June 11, 2013; they were married in 1957. Born in Clearfield, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Nancy (Butto) Calabria. He was a 1942 graduate of St. Peter's High School, where he was the captain of the basketball team. William was a veteran of the US. Air Force, serving in the European Theatre during WWII. He was a broker for John Hancock for 47 years, retiring in 1987. William was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed road trips with his family and friends. William is survived by his daughter, Victoria L. Commender, Exeter Twp.; his granddaughter, Katie Commender, Abingdon, Va.; and his sister, Rose Miller, Brooksville, Fla. He was predeceased by seven brothers: Russell, Charles, Joseph, Anthony, Samuel, Frank and Philip; and one sister, Carmela Bibbo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, June 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, with entombment to follow. Capobianchi, Bruno - Pottstown  
Bruno "Al Cappi" Capobianchi, 81, of Perkiomenville, husband of Kathryn (McLaughlin) Capobianchi, passed away on Saturday, June 25 at his home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Bruno Sr. and Anna (Renzi) Capobianchi. Survivors: wife, Kathryn; children: Scott M., Monica, and Michael J. Capobianchi; brother, Felix Capobianchi. Cavallucci, Louis - West Reading  
Louis S. Cavallucci, 90, formerly of Greenfields, passed away June 21, 2016, in St. Joseph Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Eiler) Cavallucci, who died November 24, 2015, and would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on July 3. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Camillo and Maria (Periandi) Cavallucci. Louis was a graduate of Reading High School and Wyomissing Poly Technic Institute, where he received his Associates Degree. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II on the U.S.S. New York and participated in the liberation of Iwo Jima. Louis was employed by Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent, retiring as a maintenance machinist. He was the Chairman of the Health and Safety Committee. Louis was also the Co-owner of Cavallucci's Steaks and Luncheonette in Reading with his wife. He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Louis was a founding member of the Divot Diggers Golf Club, a beneficial member of Victor Emmanuel II Society and treasurer of IBEW Local 1898 the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 27 years. Louis was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed golfing and attending many Albright football and basketball games. Louis's love was spending time with family and friends, especially at his vacation home in Stone Harbor, N.J. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his children: Joseph T., husband of Linda Cavallucci, Shillington; Anne Marie,wife of Kenneth Springer, West Lawn; and Monica, wife of Keith Himmelberger, Shillington; and Christopher Cavallucci, Elkins Park. There are seven grandchildren: Mark, Kellee, Melissa, Ken, David, Justin and Max; and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mamie DeMarco, Laureldale, and Dorothy, wife of Joseph Spina, Wyomissing, and many nieces and nephews and in-laws. Louis was predeceased by four siblings: Joseph Cavallucci, Anthony Cavallucci, Annie DaDamio and Lucy Stufflet. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, with entombment to follow. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA 19602. Ciemiewicz, Bernard - Reading  
Bernard Joseph Ciemiewicz, 63, of Lower Alsace Twp., passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, in Milton S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline Elaine (Dennis) Ciemiewicz. The couple married in Mt. Penn on April 14, 1973. Born in Reading on June 2, 1953, Bernie was a son of the late Esther Moyer and Bernard Ciemiewicz. He was a 1971 graduate of Reading High School. Bernie was employed as a welder with the Morgan Corp. for 30 years before retiring in 2008. He was a proud and loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife, Jacqueline, Bernie is survived by two sons, Bryan D. Ciemiewicz and his wife, Katie M. (Ulrich), of South Heidelberg Twp., and Devan P. Ciemiewicz and his wife, Christmas I. (Acosta), of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; and four grandchildren: Eric, Madelyn, Connor and Hope. Also surviving are a sister, Suzanne (Ciemiewicz) Epting, and her husband, H. Allen, of Allentown; a niece, Jessica; two nephews, Michael and Gregory; and a great-nephew, Greyson. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. in Auman's, Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to share memories before the service. Bernie will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
