She was the widow of Harold C. Stoudt, who passed away in April 1993.
Born in Fogelsville, she was a daughter of the late Stewart Miller and Earl and Ruth (Weng) Degler.
She drove school bus for 40 years for Tulpehocken School District.
She was a 1948 graduate of Penn Bernville High School.
She was a Democratic Committee Woman in Jefferson Township and was a member of Bernville Women's Club for many years.
Her favorite pastimes included her grandchildren's activities, bird watching and breakfast at the Jeff with friends.
Survivors include five sons: Lynn E. Stoudt and Craig A., husband of Beverly Stoudt, both of Bernville; Neil W. Stoudt, and fiancee, Margaret Drab, Wernersville; and Dana J., husband of Debra Stoudt, and Ward O. Stoudt, both of Bernville.
There is a daughter, Lori E., wife of Raymond C. Nye, Bernville.
There are 12 grandchildren: Chad Stoudt, Beth Roeder, Jason Stoudt, Dylen Stoudt, Ashley Martin, Amanda Stoudt, Nathan Stoudt, Bradley Nye, Lauren Nye, Laine Brown, Victoria Stoudt and Thomas Stoudt.
There are three great-grandchildren: Tyler and Jared Stoudt and Ada Martin.
She was predeceased by two sons, Brad L. Stoudt, who passed away in 1955; and Scott L. Stoudt, who passed away in September 2004. Also, she was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Amaya Stoudt.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with Pastor Krista Keisling officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, New Schaefferstown. Friends may call Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
