North Miami, Fla., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at Ephrata Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Leah L. Zechman.
Born in Reading, Pa., Arthur was the son of the late Arthur H. Zechman Sr., and Dorothy M. (Yost) Zechman.
He was a West Reading High School graduate and worked as a butcher.
Arthur served during WWII in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vincennes in the Pacific Theater.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Arthur H. Zechman III of Vero Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Sherrie L., wife of Robert Bulles of Blandon, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Lynn M., wife of Anthony Civitarese of Womelsdorf, Pa., and Janet L., wife of Joseph Tomko of Denver, Pa.
Also surviving are two grandchildren: Stacey A'mato and Kimberly Zechman; and five great-grandchild-ren: Megan, Nicholas, Dan-ielle, Tony, and Melissa.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
