I usually have my christmas shopping all done by now and my decorations all up the week after halloween,(I always bypass thanksgiving), to give me and my family more time to enjoy the decorations. I usually have begun my baking for the holiday season....usually. there are no decorations and no baking and no gift shopping done. I think I will be skipping this holiday season. I don't have any alternative. I miss you.

I remember Officer Galowski growing up in Douglasville. He was a great guy and would always come into the mini-market where I worked third shift and check on us.

went over to your apartment today. Just sat outside and remembered. You would be so mad at all those leaves in the foyer. I always cleaned up that area so you wouldn't have to track them into your place. I almost got out to clean them up. Almost.

I met your Dad when we worked part time in city hall as county police radio operators. Back in the early 70's a lot of county cops worked part time as dispatchers.

Had a lot of fun working with him.

Your Dad was a great guy.

Teddy, It will take a long time for me to get over losing you. I have taken care of you and loved you like my own father. It was so funny when the nurses thought we were married because I fussed so much over you. I will see you in time my friend. Love and miss you always.

RIP "Bear"

October 23, 2013

I'm deeply saddened & shocked to see this. Ted was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by myself and all of the other employees of Exeter Restaurant. He was one of the most genuine, caring, and gentle souls. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Ted was one of the last "Old School Cops" nothing really "worked him up" as he would say. Another quote stick in my head. "Now what are you doing, what were you thinking" words spoken to twp residence which it seemed he knew them all by name and address. I don't think I ever heard anyone call him Ofc. Golowski, it was always just "Ted". Though Ted was winding down his career as I was beginning mine he was always good for words of advise. He always had a story to tell which typically was hysterical and almost hard to believe but they were all true. We shared the same birthday so we would talk at least one a year after he retired. He will be missed RIP Ted.....
