Dear Shirley and Family,
We were so sad to hear of the passing of Gerry. If anyone could be personified as Mr. Governor Mifflin, it was Gerry. His one desire was to have the Governor Mifflin Schools and community to be the best in the county. His heart in regards to that could never be denied. He helped all sports to be their best by providing a weight room for strength conditioning. We always appreciated his support. He will be missed. Sincerely,Judy and Barry Smith

We would see each other at the same time quite often at Dunkin Donuts. He once told me that he was friends with John Updike, after he saw me reading a biography about the author. I loaned him the book, which he said he enjoyed.
I was so used to him being at DD at 1:00. I'll really miss him.

Mr Potts was a man I respected immensely. As my baseball coach, as a neighbor, as a man doing for my community. He always cared to ask about me, my wife, and kids, whether it was stopping by my or my parent's home or at a game somewhere. I will miss seeing and talking with him at Dunkin Donuts; I last spoke with him there before Christmas and I'm now so glad I did. Peace and regrets to the family.

We are so very sad to hear of Jerry's passing. We met him at Dunkin Donuts and he told us of his athletics and his involvement with the Governor Mifflin School District. He kindly shared his Dunkin iced coffee coupons with us and we shared our hot coffee coupons with him. We will miss his presence every weekend at Dunkin! Praying for peace for all of you. Rest in peace Jerry!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Potts family in this time of sorrow. We will miss him driving by and waving and my kids will miss him sitting on the porch watching out for them after school. My daughter enjoyed talking to him and appreciated the articles he would find for her about colleges. It made me feel good knowing he was looking out for the kids in the neighborhood. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Family, So sorry to hear of his passing ! When I was growing up in Shillington Mr Potts was my little league Baseball coach. I wasn't a good player back then but he always took time to give me instructions and encourage me to become a better player and a person ! God Bless

I'm so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. I met him through a friend and we saw him frequently at Dunkin Donuts. We had not been there in awhile, but did go this past Saturday. I'm so glad we did, because we got to see him and chat one more time. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Mr Potts was a staple in the Shillingon community. He was always deviling me cause I attended Wilson and not Mifflin. I will miss him dearly! My kids will miss him waving as he drives through the streets of Shillington "checking things out". Many blessings.
