Stella Tobias

Stella C. Tobias, 88,

of Reading PA, passed away on November 28, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

Stella was the widow of Frank T. Tobias, who passed away in 1969. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ignatius and Helen (Wolszczenski) Kalinowski.

Stella is survived by her four sons: Jonathan F.,

husband of Kathleen

Tobias, of Williamsburg, VA; Frank J., husband of Karen T. Tobias, of West Cocalico Twp., PA; Robert M.,

husband of Kelly Tobias, of Muhlenberg Twp.; and Kevin R., husband of Elizabeth Tobias, of Blandon.

Other survivors include 10 grandchildren and a

brother, Walter Kalinowski of Reading. Stella was

predeceased by her brother Stanley Kalinowski, and her sister Genevieve Sjana.

Stella was a parishioner of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. She was employed by the former Berkshire Knitting Mills.

Relatives and friends may extend their sympathy and respects to the Tobias

family on Monday December 16, 2013 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 239 South Ninth Street, Reading, PA 19602. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 250 South Twelfth Street, Reading, PA 19602. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Reading.
