Diana Fiala Obituary
Diana I. (Neiman) "Dee-Dee" Fiala, 70, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Pottstown, wife of Joe D. Fiala, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late
Harry and Thelma E.
(Yerger) Neiman.
Diana enjoyed spending time with Joe and the family at their home in Bowers Beach, DE. She enjoyed
fishing and crabbing and loved to cook and paint.
Surviving with her
husband of 10 years are
sons Kevin L. Koons, husband of Verity G., of Carlisle and Craig A. Koons, husband of Kara, of OH; brother, Harry T. Neiman, husband of Marie, of Boyertown; sister, Faith Chabot, wife of Charles, of NJ; and grandchildren Ashton, Van, Delainey, Samantha, and Dacey.
She will be missed by her best friend, Mary Oxenford. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Shirley Neiman.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 16, 11:00 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin Street, Pottstown with Rev. Barry Moyer officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
