Richard Brown Obituary
Richard Brown, 92,
of Oley, formerly of Pottstown, husband of Grace M. (Schaeffer) Brown of sixty-two years, passed away Thursday Nov. 14, 2013
at Pottstown Memorial
Medical Center.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Herbert and Vivian (Wollerton) Brown.
Richard served in the
United States Army during WWII, and later worked at DANA Corp. in Pottstown for forty-two years, until
retiring in 1983. He was also a member of Stichter Lodge #254 F & AM Masonic Lodge in Pottstown.
Surviving along with his wife are his two daughters: Marcia Graham, wife of Bruce, of Pottstown, and
Nadine Thees of Oley, and grandchildren Michael and Sara Graham, and Brittany Thees.
Including his parents,
Richard was predeceased by his three brothers Albert, Herbert, and Donald Brown, and eight sisters: Mildred Fix, Elma Sell, Hulda Dilliplane, Ginny Glenny, Hazel Spatz, Marian
Howard, Doris Sovizal, and Joyce Rudick.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Nov. 19, 2013 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown. A Masonic service will be held at 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by a funeral service
officiated by Rev. Jeffrey W. Odgren. Interment will
follow at Highland Mem-orial Park, Pottstown.
