Geraldine I. Klee, 79, of Maidencreek Township died March 2, 2011, at 12:05 a.m. in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where she was a guest for 2 1/2 weeks. She was the wife of the late Bernard T. Klee, who died Jan. 2, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Irvin J. and Ida E. (DeLong) Althouse.

She worked in the laundry at St. Michael's Convent, Hyde Park, for over 25 years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of Maidencreek U.C.C., Blandon, and the Blandon Lioness Club. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and yard work.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra J., wife of Roger A. Bermel, Exeter Township; a brother, Johnny I. Althouse; two sisters, Lillian Keller, Temple, and Ca-

rol Richard, Maidencreek Township. There are also four granddaughters: Cheryl L. Burton, Shannon C. Hartman and Danielle Wilkerson and Melissa High.

There are also four great-grandchildren: Emily Hartman, Derek Burton, Wesley Burton and Joel Wilkerson. She was predeceased by her son, Michael B. Klee, who died Jan. 2, 2003.

Viewing from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services in Berks County Memorial Gardens on Wedneseday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Sara Hertzog officiating.
