Sister Julia Ladzinski, OSF, 96, of the Bernardine

Franciscan Sisters Third Order Regular of St Francis, died on Monday, September 3, 2018, at Tower Health - Reading Hospital, Reading, Pa.

Born in Cambridge, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Alice (Jablonski) Ladzinski.

Sister Julia entered the Bernardine Order on August 11, 1941, and was in her 78th year of religious life. Sister earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Villanova University, Villanova, Pa. She served her ministry in

Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as an elementary teacher, principal, superior, director of religious education, pastoral caregiver and local minister.

Sister is survived by her brother, Rev. Msgr. Casimir

Ladzinski, Lawrenceville, N.J.

A viewing will be held at St. Joseph Villa, Reading, Pa., on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Sacred Heart Convent, Mount Alvernia, Reading, Pa., from 8:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters' Cemetery, Mount Alvernia.
