Karen Ann Yeager, 68, of Duncannon, Pa., passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in West Shore Hospital.

Karen was born in Reading, Pa., on August 19, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert and Betty (German) Hafer.

She had worked as a seamstress sewing stars on

American Flags for the Valley Forge Flag Company in

Robesonia, Pa. Karen enjoyed making Easter eggs, knitting and spending time with her family. She was a member of Zion UCC Church in Womelsdorf, Pa.

Surviving are her husband, William H. Yeager; her

children: Bob Althouse, and David Althouse, both of

Womelsdorf, Pa.; Brandon Yeager, his wife, Megan, of

Marysville; Jermey Yeager, his wife, Amy, of Shermansdale; Zachary Little, of Marysville; a sister, Janine C. Killian, her husband Kim, of Summerville, S.C.; brother, Bobby Conner, of Harrington, Del. Also

grandchildren: Megan Boyer, her husband, Tyler; Ashley Brown, her husband, Kyle; Mike Althouse; ten other grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; nieces, Kimberly Richardson, Tammy Williamson; nephew, Steven Yovicich; and a great-niece, Emily Williamson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Hafer.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, with Pastor Laura Kincaid officiating. A

viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
