Rev. Randolph DeTurck Bishop, 61, of Clay, N.Y. passed away Monday, July 23, 2018.

He was born in Reading, Pa., and had lived in Clay since his pastoral appointment at

Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, North

Syracuse, N.Y.

He was a Navy veteran serving on the U.S.S. George Washington Carver SSBN #656. After Naval service, he had been an engineering contractor for Singer-Link in Nevada and a contractor for AT&T in New Jersey.

A member of Memorial Lodge No 648 F&AM, he was Grand Chaplain Emeritus and a member of the Royal Arch, Knights Templar and Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies.

Predeceased by his father, Earl, and brother, Shawn; he is survived by his mother, Charlene Brown Bishop, of Lyon Station, Pa., and his wife of 40 years, the former Ruthanne Albrecht. Also surviving are his daughters: Jenniffer

(Kevin) Frisbie, Kristina (Jimmy) Londo and Karen

(Robert) Heller; grandchildren: Alexander, Joshua, Zachery, Payton and Nathan; siblings: Timothy (Aurora) Bishop, Holly (Matthew) McGrath, Sonya (Ken) Sariego; an uncle, Tom (Linda) Brown; nieces and nephews; and

special family members: P.K., Punk, Teddy,and Rusty.

Services were held Saturday, July 28, at Immanuel

Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4947 State Rte. 31, Clay, where Military Honors were accorded. Calling hours were held Friday at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse, NY with Masonic Services.

Donations may be made to a church, veteran's

association or Masonic charity.
