Delmar H. Koch, 93, of Spring Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at his residence.

He was the widower of C. June Koch, who died on April 17, 2012. Born in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late William A. and Nora F. (Fasnacht) Koch.

Delmar founded Koch's Nursery in Mohn's Hill in 1958 and Koch's Equipment Company in 1971. He was a longtime member of the

former Saint Luke's E.C. Church in Shillington. He helped organize the Cedar Top Fire Police and had been a member there for 40 years. He was the vice president of the Gouglersville Fire Company Relief Association.

Surviving are two children, Linda L. Buttery of Reading and Larry L. Koch of Mohnton. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Shelly D. Koch of Mechanicsburg, PA; Seth D. Koch of Reading and Ryan P. Buttery of Reading. He was predeceased by five siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his

memorial service on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at New Life of Shillington, 315 W. Broad Street, Shillington, PA 19607. Friends may call on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Twin Pines Camp Conference and Retreat Center, 3000-3098 Twin Camp Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
