Mary Jane Barker July 10, 1914 - December 17, 2013 Janie Barker passed away peacefully Tuesday at age 99 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dottie and Mike Kollar. Janie was born in Alameda, CA, on July 10, 1914, to Frank and Susan LaGrave. She has lived off and on in Vallejo for the past 80 years and was a homemaker and excellent seamstress and cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Charles "Cotty" Barker; her sisters, Cecelia LaGrave and Dolly Brown; and her brothers, Frank, George, John, Bud and Milt LaGrave Survivors include her daughter, Dottie (Mike) Kollar; son, Milt (Jerri) Barker; sister, Tutty Lyon; grandchildren, Greg (Elizabeth) Gordon, Steve (Lis) Gordon, Ben (Denise) Barker, Tara Barker, Mike Kollar Jr., Neil Kollar, Elizabeth (Ken) Silva, Mike Martindale and Lisa Martindale; great-grandchildren, Amie, Katie, Tyler, Shelby, Jacey, Kaley, Douglas, Jenica, Mike III, Tony, Kristen, Aaliyah, Jordan, Angela, Nick, Jon, Kayla, Morgan, Paige, Jacob, Trevor and Hannah; and 13 great-great grandchildren. Public visitation will be held 12-4 p.m., Saturday at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. She will be buried with her late husband in a private ceremony at Kelseyville Cemetery.
