Sammie Ray Musgrove

Sammie Ray Musgrove Long time resident of Lake County, born March 6, 1935, in Bachelor, Missouri, to Sam and Bessie Musgrove, entered into rest May 19, 2013, at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. At the age of 18, Sammie enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after his years of service. He spent many years as a truck driver and spent the rest of his life surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Musgrove of Clearlake; brothers, Walter Musgrove (Elenor) of Arizona, and Paul Musgrove (Glenda) of Missouri; sisters, Martha Dudley, Kay Douglas, and Linda Dezuick, all of Missouri; his children, Lisa Parnell (Randy), Michael Musgrove, and Steven Musgrove, all of Napa; step-children, Karen Holder of Tur-lock, Darla Lizotte (Gary) of Fort Bragg, Caroline Vannest (Donnie) of Montana, Jimmy Vannest (Beverly) of Gridley, Janie Hunt of Vallejo, and Sherri Vannest (Dominic) of Kelseyville; 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grand-children. He loved his family and his family loved him. He will be greatly missed by all. Graveside services will be held on June 7, 2013, at 12 p.m., at Sierra Memorial Lawn, 459 Hollow Way, Nevada City, CA.
