Edward Teuscher Obituary
Ed, a resident of Lakeport, CA for 21 years, was a wonderful, kindhearted, and caring husband and father who truly loved his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could. He loved hunting and fishing, especially ocean fishing. One of Ed's proudest moments was seeing his son Grant achieve and receive his Eagle Scout award.
Ed was a truck driver of 35 years. He received numerous safe driving awards from his years of service with Georgia Pacific trucking, Sherman Brothers Heavy Trucking, and Team Transport. He was nominated as a finalist in the Company Equipment Driver of the Year Contest, by the Truckload Carriers Association in 2005. His greatest accomplishment was his outstanding performance of accumulating 3 million miles of accident free driving.
Ed leaves behind his loving wife Karen of 25 years; sons, Grant and Cheney; daughters, Trina Cloud of Vancouver, WA, Julie Davis of Spokane, WA; brother, Carl (Rosalee) of Vancouver, WA; sisters, Dona Auer of Portland, OR, and Judy Stems.
Ed was preceded in death by his father Josef, and his mother Bertha.
Ed preferred not to have a service, and at his request his ashes will be distributed in the Pacific Ocean near Fort Bragg.
Donations in Ed's name may be made to Hospice of Lake County.
