Julianne Marie Heinricks

Obituary Condolences

Julianne Marie Heinricks Julianne Marie Heinricks was born April 1, 1955, in Evanston, Illinois. She lost her short battle with cancer on January 25, 2013. Her family moved to Ventura, CA, where she spent her youth and young adult years. She married her first husband David Schmitz in 1976, shortly after they spent a year living in the mountains running The Pine Mountain Inn (a mountain caf‚) in Ojai, CA. They then moved to Cobb, CA, in 1978. She embraced Lake County and the Cobb community where she chose to raise her three children, Ryan, Jodi and Kylie Schmitz. Julie was loved in the community where she spent her time as a homemaker and working at local shops. Her passion was her family. You could find her every Saturday at her son Ryan's football games cheering. She took pride in watching her daughters, Jodi and Kylie, play volleyball. She volunteered as cheerleading coach and was frequently team mom on her kids' many youth sports teams. Her summers were spent on family camping trips through Colorado and Mount Shasta. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, tending to her flowerbeds and many hours spent at the beach. She met her second husband, Bennie Heinricks Jr., in 2002. They were married in 2007 and he was faithfully by her side until her departure. Some of her favorite memories were their many roads trips to Oregon, Monterey and Fort Bragg. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Bennie; her son, Ryan; daughter-in-law, Kimmie; granddaughter, Presley and the grandchild on the way; daughters, Jodi and Kylie; her brother, Robert Ofstie; her dog, Sadie; close friends and her beloved community. Her big heart and silly nature will be greatly missed. She was a mother to many, a friend to all, her door was always open, she embraced everyone as family. Her love, laughter and spirit will never be forgotten. There will be a celebration of her life on February 10, 2013, at Cobb Mt. Community Fellowship Church, 15460 Hwy 175, Cobb, CA, at 3 p.m. We are having a celebratory potluck at the little red schoolhouse after the service. If you would like to prepare a dish please contact Dan Walters at 707-694-3603. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Julie's name to the and local Hospice. Please share your memories by signing the guestbook at www.legacy.com.
