Mary L. "Kim" Bandy February 21, 1929 - October 2, 2013 Kim passed away peacefully October 2, 2013, surrounded by her children, Debra Ponts, Mark Bandy, Boyd Bandy, Tina Kelly, and Bryce Bandy, and granddaughter, Kelly Bandy. She was a former resident of Santa Rosa, where she worked as a printer at Sonoma State University. She then moved to Lake County with her children after the passing of her husband, Herman Bandy. Kim was a member of several organizations including the Lakeport Elks Lodge #2704, Northshore Moose Lodge #2307, Sons of Italy, Red Hat Society and TOPS. She enjoyed attending dances with her friends; the Wayne Miller Band was one of her favorites. Kim is also survived by her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her longtime partner, Richard Hauch. Kim will be dearly missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 16, at the Lakeport Elks Lodge, 3775 Lakeshore Blvd., Lakeport, California. Arrangements by Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, Lakeport.
