She was born Patricia Louise Gilbert in Exeter, California, on October 31, 1936, to Louis Estel Gilbert and Ivy Rose Overman Gilbert. She adored the color purple and this was reflected in the clothes that she wore. She was a member of the comedy group Ella Mae Humdingger and Company for 38 years with Patsy Manwill and Maria Thoman, and enjoyed traveling around the country performing everywhere and having fun. She was also a longtime member of TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly). She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, James Willard Lamb; her parents, Louis and Ivy (Overman) Gilbert; her stepfathers, Robert Fink and Elmer "Gil" Gilbert; and her brother, David Gilbert. She is survived by her children, Eva Wise (Ross) of Napa, California, Alan Lamb (Karen) of Idaho, Joy Masepoli of Nevada, Peggy Farmer (Steve) of Galt, California, and Robert Lamb (Cheri) of North Carolina; two sisters, Beth Albano (Lucian) and Mary Boone (Gene); and by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
