Raea Lee Jensen March 18, 1938 - April 5, 2014 Raea Lee Jensen was born in Redwood City, CA, and moved to Lake Co. after her husband's retirement in 1976. She was employed by Konocti Unified School District as an instructional aide at Burns Valley Elementary school on September 13, 1976, and then as the counseling office secretary at Lower Lake High School beginning August 1, 1980, until her retirement on August 19, 1997. Raea is survived by her daughter, Lea (Trent) Scott; grandson, Trystan Scott; sister, Dowella Braun; niece, Mary; and nephews, Nick, Josh and Tom. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary Cowan; husband, Carroll "Red" Jensen; sister, Toma Jean DeMello; and niece, Sharon Easley. Raea touched many lives during her career in education. She was a very giving person and always put others before herself. Her family, friends, teachers she worked with, and students she nurtured, will miss her greatly and have been blessed to have had her in their lives. A potluck memorial to celebrate Raea's life will be held on May 3, 2014, at 1 p.m., at the Masonic Hall, 7100 S. Center Dr., Clearlake, CA.
