Lyn Marie Nuno Obituary
Early in her life she became an experienced equestrian and had a great love for animals. She was exceptionally passionate about her dogs and they were treated and cared for as if they were her children. She also had a talent for decorating and was very artistic.
Lyn is survived by her husband, Alfredo "Dino" Nuno; daughters, Alisha Adams of Lakeport, Dina (Bill) Lager of Costa Mesa, Morgan (Todd) Abboud of Irvine, Monique (Kyle) McKee of Boise, Erica Garcia of Irvine and Tatiana (Koty) Bogle of Salt Lake City; Goddaughter, Irma Haskel; Godson, Enrique Lopez; brother, Jeff (Kathryn) Matthews of Clarkston, Mich.; sisters, Janelle (Ron) Clark of Ojai, Blanca Nuno, Elena Avila and Sonia Martinez all of Encinada; grandchildren, John Montano, Artie, Max and Tori Garcia, Samantha and Christopher Lager, and Leyla and Liam McKee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Matthews and sister, Julie Borges.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Chapel of the Lakes, 1625 N. High St., Lakeport. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Chapel of the Lakes.

I am so sorry to hear of Lyn's passing. I have been a friend of Lyn's sister Janelle for 15 years, and I know how very close they were, supporting, loving and encouraging each other always. They always had so much fun together! Lyn was charming and caring and beautiful, and she always treated me like part of the family, too. It was over 13 years ago that my beautiful neighbor introduced herself and took me under her wing. I will forever miss her smiles and hearing "hey honey" everytime she passes by. I hope that nothing but warm and loving memories soon replace all of the sadness in your heart. With all of our love,
