Calvin "Bill" D'Addio

HAMDEN - "Bill" D'Addio departed with the angels on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.

Born July 26, 1926 to the late Gaetano and Philomena D'Addio, of Hamden; wife of Bernice Geremia D'Addio; father of Mark (Maureen) D'Addio and Debra D'Addio; grandfather of Michele and David D'Addio; brother of Rita Hardy, Julia Antonucci and Raymond D'Addio. He was predeceased by siblings, Frank and George D'Addio, Helen Cassella, Pope Palmieri, Dora Caprio and Edith DeClement. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and good friends.
Bill was the co-owner of D'Addio's Garden Center, of North Haven for over 50 years. He was a proud gardener, especially of tomatoes and strawberries, and had a deep love of fishing, and his little dog, "Little Guy".

Family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Bill's life at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven on Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. His funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Pond Hill Road, North Haven. Burial will be private.
