Cecelia "Jessie" Aloia

WALLINGFORD - Cecelia "Jessie" Aloia, 87, of Jepson Lane, South Meriden, died, Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Meriden Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis R. Aloia.

She was born in Yalesville, April 22, 1922, a daughter of the late John and Mary Biojos Kozimor and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School. She had been employed as a teller for O.T.B. until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Carlo L. Aloia and his wife, Emily of New York; her two grandchildren, Marc A. Aloia and his wife, Paquita of Waterbury, and Monica L. Skpowski and her husband, John of New York; her sister, Bridgie Capitanio of New Britain; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stanley, Theodore and Edward; and her sisters, Helen, Stacia, Mildred, Eva, Katherine, and Agnus.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 29, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. Entombment in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Meriden will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the charity of one's choice. www.wallingfordfh.com.
