Dennis P. Blankenship

MERIDEN - Dennis P. Blankenship, 71, died on Monday, April 21, 2014 at home after a brief illness. Born in Southington on August 29, 1943, he was the son of Michael E. and Rose (Pernal) Guiliano. He resided in Meriden and had graduated from Horace C. Wilcox.

Mr. Blankenship was employed by Pratt and Whitney as a tool and die maker. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by Jaime McGee and Lynn Lawrence, who were like daughters to him; three sons, Dennis P. Blankenship Jr.; John Blankenship; and David Stimpson; several grandchildren; four brothers, Michael E. Guiliano; Donald Guiliano; Robert Guiliano; and Kenneth Blankenship; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Philip Blankenship and brother, Douglas Blankenship.
