Kay Kaminski Kedzior

MERIDEN - Kay Kaminski Kedzior, 91, of Meriden, formerly of Wallingford, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Meriden Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Boleslaw "Benny" Kedzior.

She was born in Poland on Feb. 15, 1923, and was the only daughter out of nine children born to the late Jozef and Jadwiga Janusz Kaminski. She was employed at the Stanley Judd Company until her retirement and was a parishioner of SS. Peter and Paul Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Venter, of Meriden; her son and daughter-in-law, Edward S. and Genevieve Kedzior, of Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Tracy Jennings and her husband, John, Wendy Smotherman and her husband, Jason, Michael Kedzior and Christopher Venter; her seven great-grandchildren; and her brothers who still reside in Poland.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Monday, April 21, from 9:15 until 10:15 a.m. Afterwards the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter and Paul Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford. Gifts in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
