Raymond P. Rosick

WALLINGFORD - Raymond P. Rosick, 91, of Wallingford loving husband of the late Wanda Bastura Rosick, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Ray was born in Wallingford, Oct. 23, 1921, a son of the late Walanty Rosick and Katherine Liptak Rosick and had been a lifelong Wallingford resident. He was employed by the Allegheny Ludlum Steel Company for 44 years until his retirement and was a lifelong farmer. Ray was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Rosick and his wife, Marie, of Wallingford; and his daughter, Kathleen Winiarski, of Meriden; his grandchildren, Lynda Statham, Sharon Hoag, Christine Laferriere and Joseph Winiarski; his great-grandchildren, Amy Statham-Arbello, Brandon Bronner, Sabrina Statham and Leo John Laferriere; his great-great-grandchild, Madison Arbello; and his brother, Michael Rosick, of Hudson Falls, N.Y. He was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Darlene Amanda Statham; his two sisters, Valarie Lakatus and Mary Melanson; and three brothers, Stanley Rosick, Edward Rosick and John Rosick.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 9 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
