Donald Priebe Obituary
Donald was born in Meriden on Feb. 25, 1940, a son of the late Harold and Doris Greiner Priebe; he was a truck driver for Stop & Shop for 37 years until his retirement; was a member of the Teamsters Local 443; member of the Meriden Elks, St. Mary's Men's Club, Meriden and the Meriden P.B.A.
He was the beloved father of William (Claudia Wilk) Priebe, of East Haven, Lynne Rosello and John (Tricia) Priebe, all of North Haven; he was the loving grandfather of Daniel, Timothy, Callyn and Jack Priebe; he was the brother of Susan (Thomas) Zagorski, of Meriden.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday, July 1, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492, or Canine Companions for Independence, Northeast Regional Training Facility, Miller Family Campus, 286 Middle Island Road, Medford, NY 11763.

DEAR MRS PRIEBE AND FAMILY,
ARE CONDOLENCES ARE WITH YOU ALL AT THIS TIME OF SORROW. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MR. PRIEBE MOWING THE LAWN AND SNOWBLOWING THE SNOW ON SCRUB OAK ROAD AND DOVER ROAD. HE WAS A MAN OF GREAT ATTRIBUTES. OUR FAMILY ALWAYS ENJOYED HIM RIDING HIS MOWER OVER AND HAVING A WATER OR SODA WITH DAD. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR.
