Edward Guzowski Obituary
He was born in Bristol on March 14, 1921, the son of Martin Guzowski and Elizabeth (Smigel) Kulas. Ed graduated from Bristol High School before joining the U.S. Navy Seabees. After his military service he returned to settle in Southington with his beloved wife of 65 years, Julia (Marchetti) Guzowski (1919-2012).
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Elizabeth Eaton, Florence Guzowski; his niece, Robbin Todhunter; longtime friend, Carmel Avitabile; and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington on Monday, Jan. 27, at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.

Having grown up down the street from Eddie was a joy! He and Julia brought so much happiness to me and my siblings. We would visit frequently and just hang out with them! They were a treasure!
