Francis Lappert Obituary
Born in Meriden on Feb. 6, 1916, he was the son of the late John and Anna Lappert and graduated from Meriden High School. Mr. Lappert was employed by International Silver Company. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Meriden Rod and Gun Club, where he served as a secretary for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and bowling.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Cox, of Meriden; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Cox, of Charlotte, N.C., Christopher Cox and his wife, Michelli, of Greensboro, N.C. and Dana Perrotti, of New York City, N.Y.; a great grandson, Raymond Cox; two sisters, Ada Schade, of Lutz, Fla., and Rose Clark, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be private. Linda and Family - I just found out about your dad's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am so glad I got to know both he and your mother. They were both incredibly special people - the kind you don't forget. Sending prayers and love to you all.

Linda, our hearts go out to you and your family on the loss of your dad. He was so brave at his age never giving up on walking. We admire him very much and you. You were probably the best daughter in that nursing home, for the care you gave him.
