WALLINGFORD - Franklin J. "Curly" Tully, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, July 10, 2014, at his residence. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia Ann Wilbur Tully.

Curly was born in Jersey City, N.J., July 26, 1942, the son of the late Patrick Tully and Katherine Hart Tully and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He was employed by the State of Connecticut at the Cheshire Correctional Institute until his retirement. He was a past president of Local 387 and a member of the Wallingford Elks Lodge No. 1365, and the Wallingford Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his two sons, Dean P. Tully and is wife, Tracy, of Meriden, and Christopher J. Tully and his wife, Danielle "Lani", of Wallingford; his three grandchildren, Jessica Ziegler and her husband, Christian, Ryan Tully and his wife, Crystal and Gary Lozowski and his companion, Candace Perrotti; his great-grandson, Jace Christopher Tully; his sister, Rosalind Sarti and her husband, Gus, of New Jersey; and his niece, Betty Reilly and her husband, Terry.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Sunday, July 13, from 4 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 11 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
